Hello! I’m Lisa.
I’m the founder of Plymouth Street, where I help the world’s most talented people move to America. I had a difficult time applying for a U.S. work visa, which inspired founding the company.
I currently live in San Francisco. I grew up in rural England as the child of Algerian immigrants. I studied at the University of Oxford, where I was elected President of the Oxford Union.
Previously, I worked as an early-stage investor at Bloomberg, backing companies transforming critical industries. Before that, I worked at Entrepreneur First in London and Berlin, investing in exceptional individuals to build startups from scratch. I was responsible for working with scientists and researchers across Germany and the U.K. to launch startups.
I’m an Interact Fellow and served on the Board of GBx Next Gen. I also launched a course with Stanford professors on Ethics, Technology and Public Policy.
My primary interests lie in technology entrepreneurship, history, economics and philosophy.
